Kuwait Amir meets with Defense and Interior Ministers

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Dar Al-Yamama, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah where he presented (retired Lieutenant General) Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as the (newly-appointed) First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Additionally, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was presented as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense where they were sworn in before His Highness on their appointments. Kuwait’s Amir called for increased efforts to maintain security, wishing the team continued success. The meeting was attended by several senior government officials.
